Module 7: Sharing Results/Taking Action

Introduction

As mentioned in Module 6, presenting the findings to various interest groups (e.g. parent councils, town councils, students, etc.) generates support and builds momentum for food environment change.  Are you ready to share your Community Nutrition Report Card more broadly?

In this final module, you will develop your own strategy for presenting your food environment findings and recommendations to your community. The strategy you choose will depend on your community context and what you hope to achieve. While social media campaigns can share out Community Nutrition Report Card findings (see Module 6), gathering your community together, sharing the results, and reflecting together on next steps is paramount to gaining commitment to keep working on improving the food environment.
