Module 1: Overview & Getting started

Introduction

The Benchmarking Food Environments Project was created to empower communities to improve their local food environments! Aligned with our provincial strategy, we worked with communities across Alberta to create Community Nutrition Report Cards. Participating communities collect data on their local food environments and create recommendations for action. Benchmarking your community’s food environments to create a Community Nutrition Report Card can spark conversations and action to make healthy eating easier!
